Parking Meter Rates and Hour Changes in our Hood
Tuesday, 28 October 2008 05:48
FROM CITY OF LA, PARKING BUREAU

I wanted to update you on our progress in implementing the new parking meter rates and hours in Council District 4.  I apologize for not being able to get this information to you further in advance.

On Monday we changed the rates in the first two parking lots in the Miracle Mile area; the on-street meters will follow by Monday with expanded hours to 8 PM where the meters currently run to 6.  The new rates in Hollywood (partially CD 4) should be fully implemented by today.  The hours there won't change until next month.

Attached please find the full CD 4 schedules for meter rates and hours changes for both on-street and in the lots.  The dates are subject to change, but should be pretty close.  I have also included a map of the CD 4 Parking Meter Zones (PMZs) for your reference.

I would appreciate your help in communicating this information to your Neighborhood Councils and business associations, so that they have notice of our progress and plans.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
