Additional Parking at Busby's
Tuesday, 08 April 2008 06:43
Make sure that you speak to one of the managers, Paul or Matt, before leaving your car and identify yourself as a Miracle Mile Action Committee member.

Busby's has a large parking area behind it.  Busby's (and the post office spaces that they lease) are behind Busbys on Wilshire Blvd. from Detroit to Cloverdale.

Paul, the owner of Busby's, has offered the residents of the Miracle Mile apartment district FREE PARKING
on Sunday - Wednesday.

There are two options - one is for early morning, the other is for those who need to sleep in.

Sunday through Wednesday you can park in the entire lot behind Busbys as well as the post office parking lot and even the Hair Place parking lot - from 6pm until the post office opens (which I think is 8am but check with post office, sometimes they change hours too).

First, introduce yourself to either Matt or one of the two Pauls at Busbys to let them know you're a member of the Miracle Mile Action Committee and just say "I'd like to start parking back here on Sunday - Wed."

But make sure - if you're at the post office portion you are gone by the time they open.  Also, don't stay in the hair place after the post office opens.

ALSO:  Sunday - Wednesday you can park BEHIND Busby's (but NOT at the Hair Place spots) any time from 6pm - noon the next day. Behind Busby's means: the area from the fence right behind Busby's - until Detroit (minus the Hair Place spots).

Also, on the weekends you can valet for $5 a night - just get your keys from the valet, or ask them to leave them with Busby's and pick them up in the morning when they open.  Make sure they know you are a resident and you plan to park OVERNIGHT.

If you need to talk to Paul his number is 323-525-2615
cell:  323-828-7598

He's also helping out with the patrol.
